08. Strange Frontier (SAS Band + Roger + Brian - Tribute to Freddie Mercury, 24/11/2001)

Ocean Club, London (England) - November 24th, 2001 On 10th anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death, Queen fan club held a special party in the Ocean Club in London with SAS Band as the main act. They were joined by Bruce Dickinson for "I Want To Break Free" and above all by Brian May on vocals and guitar and Roger Taylor on vocals and drums for another six songs. Roger sung lead vocals on "Radio Ga Ga", "Under Pressure" (with Treana Morris), "Strange Frontier" and "No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young)" (with Brian May), while Brian sung lead vocals on "Since You've Been Gone" and "Tie Your Mother Down".

Myths of Bharam Chak I: Secret of Time (shadow version)

An alternative cut of the first installment of The Myths of Bharam Chak series, "14 Copper Monkey Returns the Secret of Time." This version combines the shadow puppet film used in performance with the audio of the premiere, providing a "close up" on the action and focusing on the puppet show. (You can hear the audience reaction throughout the video). The story is told in the constructed language of Bharam Chak, with shadow puppetry and 31--EDO microtonal music & percussion. 14 Copper Monkey is the servant to the Drum Queen, the creator deity who plays The Rhythm of Life. This myth tells of how he discovers, loses and recovers The Secret of Time. Themes include the resolution of opposites, and the victory of spirit and intellect over force. A work in progress, The Myths of Bharam Chak will continue with further adventures of 14 Copper Monkey.
